Benefit & added value

The SMIBIO Project will develop general tools and methods to properly assess and optimize the techno-economic viability for any small-scale two-platform biorefinery regardless the considered feedstock or the EU or LAC region to be considered.

The outcomes of the SMIBIO Project will have a real added value for both regions. Economic and societal potentials will be identified and made available for stakeholders in Europe and Latin America.

Furthermore the SMIBIO Project enables the participants to gain access to international networks and actors and exchange knowledge on international expert level.
